It begins in the heat. Cedar, amber light, warmth that asks for your full attention — the mind goes quiet because the body takes over.
Then, the decision. Three breaths at the edge of the ice bath, and in. You get out more awake than you have felt all day.
While your skin still tingles, the dome closes over you. Scent, steam and sound, until the outside disappears completely.
Warm water gathers what the heat and cold began. The body settles, the garden sits at eye level.
